Quote a line not a paragraph
 

hello brothers, i wood like some instruction on quoting a line or sentance without quoting an entire paragraph. is it a highlite then copy and paste thing or what ? thanks guys .....

For quick reply, copy what you want quoted, hit the quote button, paste.

still cant get the poster and comment to paste to reply box correctly.. my bad i know.. please draw it in crayon for me..pleeeeeze

Just do a full quote and then highlight and delete everything you want inside the bracketed codes on each end - you've got to leave them.

^^ Yep, that would be my suggestion, too. Full quote and delete what you don't want.

thanks , i get it . i need a simple computer class.

Or highlight , copy , paste then bold it. Seen a few do it that way too

Bambam, another thing you can do is copy the part of the post you want to quote, then hit the full quote, highlight everything between the quote tags, then paste the part you originally copied.

That way may be fastest?
Just another idea.
