Polls....
 

Seems like there may have been some changes singe when I was new.

If I remember correctly we used to be able to read the first post before voting (as in it wasn't beneath the poll section on the page) This made more sense because we were asked to vote after we knew the purpose of the thread.

Also, is it relatively new that the poll thread gets bumped when somebody votes? I personally find this irritating as hell because I find myself re reading the same last post 5 or 6 times...lol

Actually, I think the "bump when someone votes" thing is annoying as hell, too. I always fall for that chit and it's disappointing on so many levels.... lol.
I can change that setting, too, so it doesn't do it any more.
I'll run it by the man and we'll see what we can do. Or maybe we should start a poll. :D

OK... polls shouldn't get bumped now if someone votes. They'll only bump with a new reply and the 'last post' time will not be updated with a vote, either.
I still have to look into the poll/question order. I'm sure there's a setting here somewhere.... or it may even be fixed to this version. Not sure.
Although... the poll right above the question doesn't bother me near as much as the vote bump.
