Default Mods section? Bike specific.

hey chain or another moderater, it would relly make life easier if within a section like 1000rr for example there was a mods or similar section where all the posts regarding replacing parts or doin mods like the air flapper mod where kept. Mods specific for your bike. i`m havin difficulty keepin track of the stuff cos different people post em in different places. What do you think?

Sounds like a good idea -- are you thinking a seperate 'mods' category for each bike or 1 for current models and 1 for past models. I'm thinking the latter would be easier -- just have to keep it clean of spam and off topic posts. I think your idea was attempted a while back in the 'general tech' forum but that's just too broad of an area.

I THINK IT A GOOD IDEA BUT I THINK YOU NEED TO TRY
TO GET ONE PERSON FROM EACH MODEL TO STEP UP
AND MOD THEIR SECTION
AND THEN HELP WITH THE OFF SECTIONS
I THINK PEOPLE WOULD DO MORE IF IT IN THEIR SECTION

YOU COULD GO TO EACH SECTION AND POST SOMETHING
TO SEE IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED AND JUST SEE
HOW IT GOES

MAY IT WILL TAKE PRESSURE OF THE OTHER MODS AND ADMIN

Greymustang - I think you may have misunderstood -- he's talking about mods as in 'modifications' not 'moderators'. Patrick and Amanda already have their hands full with me running around here like a loose cannon. I don't think they could handle one in every section Although if you're interested in the job make sure you let them know.

`1 for current models and 1 for past models`

Sounds good to me, can we have it and is it a real ball ache to put the existing `mods` in to start with, exhaust, pc3 , flapper mod etc
