Tahoe makes a great point (of course); many would not even be able to take advantage of a full system unless they race or push the envelope. Are you pushing your bike hard enough to need that extra horse power? For an a-hole like me, the slip on provided everything I was looking for...aesthetic enhancement and aural satisfaction. Chances are a slip on will do the trick. By the way, isn't Akropovic the brother of Maury (daytime talkshow host)?

With regard to the 7 lbs thing...we can go all day on that one. If it takes 1 HP to push 7 lbs, then why does my poor car run just fine at 22 lb/HP (260 HP on a 5900 lb SUV)? That would be much higher than the previous claim that it takes 1 HP to move 7 lbs, right? How does my car move?
