Default Yoshi RS1 Carbon "shorty"

Followed the sticky tutorial and figured I'd try n help anyone else out that wanted to see pics of how the rs1 looks after doing this (or any exhaust really for that matter). Was a bit nervous cutting into my carbon pipe, cause I love the way it sounded n looked. But the risk vs. reward won in the end. JUST TAKE YOUR TIME AND BE PATIENT, and have the RIGHT TOOLS.

BEFORE:

1. Drilled out old rivets, removed metal clamp, removed inner

2. This was the most time consuming part. Removing the tack welds so that I could remove the metal mesh from over the inlet piping

3. What a carbon Yoshi really looks like

4. First rough location mock-up

5. Getting there...

6. 2hrs later...used 3/16" rivets and an Arrow ProGrade Hand Rivet tool.

7. On the bike. Sounds MEAAAN, I love it. And it seems like the bike is more responsive down low.

Cutting the carbon pipe was a breeze with a standard hacksaw. Blade wasnt even new, which woulda made it even smoother.

I wish my phone's mic didn't suck so bad. It makes the exhaust sound kinda raspy when in fact it's deep and sounds mean. I LOVE the sound of this exhaust now, my favorite that I've heard yet. Doesn't sound like a cheap shorty either that's just loud...it's a very clean tone. Under WOT it's insane.
