Sounds like you have done the homework behind the swap. Good luck with everything. let us know how the bike rides....

Better yet, come to a midwest track and we can have a little f4 vs f4i showdown.

I've found some decent deals on trailers on craigslist lately. I Really need a garage for more room and I'd love to buy one

Nesba, trackaddix, etc.. Most local tracks up here also do their own trackdays for a cheaper price which is nice.

Looks good! I think I'll probably stick with doing a Racetech spring set up on my stock forks this winter as well as a rear shock rebuild.
I do STT @ Autobahn Country Club,Gingerman and Road America track days for what its werf.

Hondajunkie, I still got the stock forks with the .90 racetech springs installed if your interested. You could pull them off, swap them out, then sell yours... Lot easier that way lol. I can't wait to get this to the track so I can dial in suspension better. Seems like Im going to like it. PLus its nice having something different!

lol but Im keeping the f4i swingarm though... I like the 600rr but I believe that changes the wheelbase which I dont want... Nothing is wrong with the f4i swingarm either, does its job but its just ugly... Im done with major modding the f4i now... pretty much now its just upkeep costs and fuel!

I'm doing a 06 1000rr front end swap on my '99 F4 which I race in a preinjection cup. As far as I have measured it won't change the geometry of the bike. I have standard F4 forks with öhlins internals. The forks came fra Howard Whitby's BSS 600. They perform superb, so only reason for changing is to have some different and I save 3kgs.

Regarding the 600rr swingarm conversion, there I'm affraid it will change the handeling of the bike to the worse. Maybe I'm wrong? But I have decided to change to a 06 F swingarm. Hopefully it will be a little lighter.

So for the front I don't see a problem. Bike weighs the about the same as a 06 1Krr and wheelbase is the same. I lose 3kgs and last it lets me use 320mm rotors!
