Sunspot and blinker fluid eh? umm...need help understanding that one.

I think it's mostly rider though. When I lean, I push my handlebar and lean. How is proper leaning done? Just lean my body and no handlebar or just light handlebar and mostly leaning??
Your rear tire is square. When you go past the square it transers too much weight to the front. Rider input causes the wobble.

As far as turning: It's scary to hear a rider ask that question. Motorcycles are turned using countersteering.

+1 on the books. And Get Thee to a School Pronto.

lol that looks like a 300 tire

dunno if its just the proximity in which you took the pic, but damn thats one square *** tire.

REPLACE it & heed the advice of the post right above this one..

Gah! I typed up a huge response, but the forum is still pms-ing.

Replace your rear tire and youll probably be a bit more stable in the turns. Also, read the thread itg linked to... Jules did an amazing job of explaining counter-steering and why it works.

Also, I noticed nobody answered your question on wind... all you can really do is tuck down a little and lean into the wind. And be especially careful when riding in strong winds on wet pavement; strong winds have no problem taking your rear tire and moving it when the roads wet.

Whoever did that to the rear tire should not be allowed on a sportbike.[sm=smiley36.gif]

Went to my local bike shop today, and the tech said that I need a new rear tire but couldnt install until Tuesday so he said meanwhile try to weave the bike when it's hot so that the square gets worn out at least a little. He also mentioned that my tire pressure was totally wacky and that is probably what caused the box effect of rear tire so he inflated my tires to 40psi.

What do you guys think about different tires f and r? Because I currently have Bridgestone 014 both front and rear and he says front is pretty much brand new but rear needs to be replaced and he is recommending a Pilot Power for rear. He says different tires front back is fine and won't affect anything, is this okay to do? Oh and he also said Bridgestone 014 is more for heavier bikes such as 1000s

I have two different tires, and things seem pretty good around turns.

I think you need a rider mod, not a suspension mod.

the 014s are crap period and other than recommending a Pilot Power, by what you said, hes tarded. But being youre a n00b the 2 diff tire should be ok. Its best to run the same fore n aft tho.

Don't be so harsh man. He's a noob. We've all been there (I still am), and I know from experience, its much harder to become knowledgeable with bikes when you don't have friends who ride. That why we're on this forum. To learn from you more experienced guys

On another note: Take the MSF. It'll make you a better rider.
