wiring help, and stay cracked

Ok, so i got my upper fairing a few weeks ago, and got my new headlight assembly in last week. So i've been putting my bike back together slowly, due to the heat and poor air circulation in my garage.

The wiring is a disaster, really no other way to say it, there's just a crazy spool of wires everywhere, and since i have HID's it's not any easier. Last time i got my face on and the wiring got in the way, but it was managed, now somehow it's worst. Can someone provide photos, or tips on what to do to make it all fit? The previous owner definitely did splicing, and cutting of wires, i don't know why, but it's visible.

Anyways my upper fairing stay bracket thing, is busted, not to badly, but it's making me nervous, should i order another one? I saw aftermarket ones on ebay for $70, are they same quality/worth it? Any experience with them? Does it matter if mine is cracked, will it affect anything?

Thanks everyone.

You need to put up some pics of this Dave if you want to get any meaningful help. Sometimes disasters are not as bad as they sound. Sometimes they're worse. We need to see the evidence.

Any help? Anyone capable of taking pics to show me how their looks faceless? Maybe you took the pic a while ago?
