The double bubble is a bit larger and allows for more airflow to be shot up over you and you don't need to duck so much. I have a tinted one made by Zero Gravity.
Took the pics at night...sorry! LOL! Attachment 86683 Attachment 86684 |
RE: windscreens
yea i have the exact same one as Pits, not the best windscreen for someone that is going to be constantly tuckin because its really hard to see through even during the day. but the main reason i like the dark one is because it gets rid of the sun glare on my speedo, makes for reading the tach alot easier too. Zero gravity makes a double bubble as well and ive heard people really like that as well because you dont get as much wind noise, and wind force as you would with a regular windscreen.

RE: windscreens
Yeah not too long ago a buddy of mine and I compared our bikes shields. He has a Targa and I have the one mentioned above, the Zero Gravity dark smoke. Above 100, the double bubble is an AMAZING improvment. The bike/rider felt so much more stable. We were both shocked at the difference a shield can make! I just ordered another one but in clear so I can shoot video. Can't see anything through the dark smoke one but it looks great!

RE: windscreens
love my puig race screen - great wind deflection. some ppl don't like the db look -- but personally i think it's an improvement over stock.

RE: windscreens
ok, the DB makes sense that it'll deflect wind up over the rider...
but I like the look of a race shield over the DB though. Thnaks for the input dudes! |
RE: windscreens
Heard that the double is better as well once the funds come in for me I will be getting one also.
