Default Windscreen

I have an '01 F4i with the regular windscreen. I am contemplating getting a double bubble, but also a sport touring which actually comes up even further up the fairing. I am 6'2", so my question is, would the double bubble provide enough wind deflection for a big guy or should i go with the larger sport touring windscreen?

I have a yellow-tint (transparent) sport-touring screen from zero-gravity. Unused. Got it from zgoutlet.com which sells it for 40+ship. I can ship it to you for 20+shipping if you want.
I went with the double bubble for my F4i since it was sufficient wind protection for me. What it's helped me do is not have to tuck as much for the wind blast to go over the helmet. So I can look through the screen easier. Upright seating position you still get wind buffeting your head. Never used the sport-touring so dunno.

I'm just over 6 foot and I just installed a ZG DoubleBubble - sitting upright wind hits around the highest part of the shoulder and neck at 60mph. A whole lot easier to get down behing, however.

ampfp,

I would want the dark smoke double bubble. It tough for me to get all the way down, being a big dude. So i think the double bubble will def help alot. Anyone try the sport touring whick comes up around 2 inches high?

I'm 5'11 and the double-bubble only provides enough wind deflection if I'm practically laying on the tank. Much better than stock, though.

You won't get any wind protection from your windscreen wh.ile sitting normally. It's more for when you're crouched going ***** out.

I wouldn't agree with that 100%. I'm 6'2 and I just switched from a Hotbodies stock replacement shield to a ZG Double Bubble shield and even sitting straight up I notice less wind force than before. To say I feel nothing, no, but I definitely feel better sitting up straight. And it's much easier to tuck for sure.

Maybe you just are getting hit with the wind in a different spot. My wind hits me in the neck / shoulders with my double bubble.
