Yes, but you can always go a cheaper route and disable it...or at least until you get a new one...if you unplug it take a small piece of good wire and stick it in the outer two holes of the connector and tape it up good, it will be disabled and the bike will run without any ill effects until you get one..if you use a short enough piece of wire just the right size it'll look clean...if decide not to get a tipover switch later, you can always cut the connector off and just tie the two outer wires together.
