Wierd flange on Delkevic exhaust ???

What is this piece circled in red? Attaches to nothing and it just sits there in front of the rear tire.

Anyone with any delkevic exhausts can chime in?

My guess would be that another bike has the same bends as the F4i's midpipe and it is a mounting braket for that bike?
Cheaper then making 2.

Delkevic responded; apparently its the center stand top mount, for the models that have center stands.

Thx..closed..delete if a MOD wants

i just installed mine and it has the same thing .... kinda scares me as it is realllllly close to the rear tire..... have any problems with it contacting it ? Or has your been fine ?

Take a cut-off wheel/grinder & have at it cutting it off...case closed. ;-)
