whobble whobble

went for a ride today on some nice back roads and as i was in the middle of a not so dramatic curve the bike felt like it whobbled i was doin about 55 you can take this turn at 85 ive done it on my last bike... any ideas??:icon_doh: o by the way i have an 02 cbr 600 f4i bought it with 18K on it

just taking a guess but may be low tire pressure, bad bearings, unbalanced tires?

Maybe the whobble was in your head. :icon_laugh:

But other than what Jam0837 said above it could be anything. Maybe a slick spot on the road, tiny patch of gravel, etc, etc.

I used to get a little wobble out of my bike upon exiting turns... I spent a few days dialing in my suspension to my liking and it went away. In my case, I believe I set everything a bit stiffer.

im voting tire pressure

RunwayOneSix 04-29-2010 11:54 AM

I'm with Vangill...I think it's tire pressure. Also...are you're rear wheels balanced???

fourxchevy 04-29-2010 11:57 AM

I had that happen to me last night, but I think it was just because of the fact that it was cool out and the city thought that the middle of a tight curve was a good place to paint railroad crossing on the street.

i checked the tire pressure and holy wow they were low.. tires are all good now takin it for a ride friday afternoon hopefully all goes well and people drive safe!!!

Can't knock you. I did the exact same thing. But the first thing I did was check the tire pressure ;)
