Default Who has ordered stainless brake lines?

I am ready to order extended brake lines for the F4i project. Galfer and Hel are my 2 final choices, both are supposed to be about equal in quality. Anybody who has ordered a Galfer or Hel kit might know they come with a double banjo setup so you can just run 2 lines to each caliper straight out of the master cylinder. If anyone is still reading this and has ordered stainless lines how about some tips on length, fittings, etc as I have 929/954 calipers running up to an F4i master cylinder.

i have the galfer kit for the f4i. comes at the right length with a separate lines for each caliper. there is a decent amount of slack in the lines, so even with different calipers you shouldn't have a problem with length. tons of different vendors on ebay for just under $100

Spiegler offers the best quality SS brakeline as far as I'm concerned.

Motomummy.com has them discounted at $130 shipped for front and rear, with multiple color combinations. Check them out.

Goodridge. I've never heard of a brand to stay away from so I'll assume they're all good. Aren't the 929/954 calipers the same as the f4i? I'm pretty sure the regular f4i SS lines will be more than long enough.

Torque values on the banjo are less than stock and I had to cut off the metal nub on the MC to get the lines to not pinch or bind on anything.

Put Galfers on my 1kRR 4 years ago and fit was great and they are still one of the better mods in my opinion. Like previously stated I did remove a useless fender bracket to keep from rubbing but other than that an easy install. A vacuum pump will make the job a lot easier.

I think my 929 calipers might be the same as the F4i ones other than the 929ers being gold. Currently I only have an F4i master cylinder and reservior. From looking at part numbers on ronayers.com fiche diagramsboththe F4i and 929 have the same banjo bolt going into the mas.cylinder so I guess lines should be almost interchangeable no matter what pieced together Frankenbrake system I am trying to run.

If the calipers are the same and they likely are then I guess it wont matter what master cyl. I have. I just need to order longer lines since I am running dirt bars now.

QUESTION: For those who ordered the 2 line double banjo kits, did everything come ready to mount up to your bike with no extra trips to Lowe's or AutoZone?

Removed existing brackets that were in the way and a couple of tie wraps strategically placed to keep things neat.

I had Galfers on my first F4i, Goodrich on my second, and now I have Galfers on my 07rr. No difference, all good quality stuff. Although, if I could get a set of Spieglers for a few dollars more, I would do it. Spieglers have rotating ends on them, unlike the other brands. so you can put the banjo bolt on where it needs to go, and then twist the line to take out any odd curves, and tighten it down. makes it real nice.

I have Spiegler lines. Very nice and work good. I noticed a difference right away.
