Default Where's the fuel

My
after installing my 2 brothers slip on, and theK and N filter on my 2005 f4i I've noticed that my reserved light now comes on 20 miles earlier than before. I used to go 145 miles before the reserved light would come on, but now it's at 125. is this normal?[&o]

Maybe you are riding it harder since you wanna hear the nice sounds. Other than that, these bikes are designed to run with a stock air cleaner and stock pipe, any changes can require retuning. Retuning will probably mean richening the mix, expect to lose more mpg. But it sounds nice, right? My bike goes about 145-155 before reserve so that seemed normal to me.

California model bike? Did you eliminate/simulate the O2 sensor with the slip on?

I average 46-48mpg. Alot of times it is two up. I think the town I ride in has something to do with it, heavily speed enforced, no hills, little traffic, low posted speed. My bike is 100% stock. I don't think I drive aggressively at all, which is probably the main thing.
