Do you have any recommendations? I did a search but didn't really get any where.

i checked with the dealer and **** that, checked with my local auto parts place and they wanted like $300 for the battery on my 929... $160 for the only place close to me that carried yuma... so i went to walmart and bought one for $60 (non yuma) and it works perfect.

bought a 'gel' battery off ebay for likE $40. has worked like a charm for the last 6 months or so (more I think). it's just a couple mm taller than the stock one, so the cover takes some pressure, otherwise works just great.

Discount auto parts, $60 lead acid type, 6000 miles in one year and still going strong.

dude. never buy a battery on ebay. Dvoltbatteries.com. i got a replacement gel type there for $75 with free shipping anda 1 year warrentee. you can tell it's a good battery because i left the lights on and killed it 3 different times and it came right back with a trickle charger. i also left my bike in the sub freezing temp of my outdoor garageplugged in for 4 months because i forgot to put it on a trickle charger. the thing started right up without any problems. now that is a damn good battery! i DARE you to find a battery that can do that and be as cheap as that.

I did a little research and came up with WestCo Batteries.

There is a good review here..http://www.webbikeworld.com/Motorcyc...iumph/battery/.
