Wheelie Question

Now I know every bike is different and Im running a -1/+1 setup. What speed would you guys say is best for learning second gear clutch wheelies? 20-25? Or 30-35 or 35-40?

I saw another topic on this last night not sure off hand the best answer. But you might check the forums over at wwwe.stuntlife.com they have a pretty detailed post stickied on there...but I don't know the address off hand and am using my phone right now.

u should be able to do 2nd gear clutch wheelies fine with that gearing.

I always bounced my f4i up in second around 60mph pure stock gearing. Once you know the bike its easy and smooth though I learned over the years using many techniques and gearing, I prefered stock in the end. Here's a short vid I made before I got ran over and the bike totalled. It shows how fast and smooth it can come up once you feel comfortable on it.

What gear were you in bouncing that thing?

jonld 07-06-2010 04:11 PM

2nd gear. A guy turned left in front of me june 1st and destroyed my bike and f'ed me all up. There's a thread about it with pictures of the bike.
