Exclamation Whats wrong with my bike?

Just got a GREAT 2001 Cbr 600 F4I, here's the problem. From a standstill when I accelerate it feels like the bike is going to stall. It stutters and putts till about 13 mph then takes off like a bat outta hell (like it should from the get go!). Also if I slow to around 10-15 mph in second it kinda does the same till about 20mph then takes off. Any ideas? I already put the bike in air because I tried "opening it up" while it was stuttering. I feel like this is a HUGE danger to me.

Thanks everyone...

Plugs need to be changed? Injectors clogged? FPR shot, flooding it out? Got a power commander? if so unhook it.

Default dont be a dickkk

Gees guys-
dont be a dickkk,
as far as the bike I would also check the plugs and take the PC off line. When in doubt take it to someone who can look at it, and remember you get what you pay for.
Dont be cheap!
Be safe and dont be a dickk

I'd start with plugs and filter, too.

If it's not that, it may be a bigger (although not necessarily harder to fix) problem.

Default Possibly fuel pressure regulator

I have mine in the shop right now for the same thing. Seem like many cbr suffer from this. After changing the plugs (which were jacked up) the bike ran a lot better but still stumbled in low rpm. The shop is waiting on a fuel pressure regulator. That is what the mechanic and I believe it is. He has changed the fuel, check electrical connection to the fuel system, check the servo motor among other stuff. Seem like the fuel pump operates fine. We think the bike is not getting proper fuel quantity. I will update this thread as soon as I find out if this new fuel regulator solves the problem.

BTW the regulator cost me 80 bucks and the labor is about 20-30 mins. (no big deal)

I have never in 15 years seen changing plugs and filter fix anything fuel injected. Thats just me though.

Is this your first bike is it?

I'm sure everyone that's commented to your post is right about spark plugs and everything else, but what about your throttle control, clutch play, and gear? About your slowing down to around 10-15 MPH in 2nd gear, if you're in 2nd gear and you're slowing down to at least 10 MPH, you should already be in 1st gear by 12 MPH to avoid imminent stalling. Let me know how it goes!

Well, Im disappointed to say that after changing the fuel pressure regulator, the bike still stumbles in low gear. Anything above 4000RPM the bike rides fine with plenty of power. Losing my patience, don't know where else to turn. Im surprised to read other post where people have had this same problem. Yet there is not one solution. Everyones case is different.
