just riding around town i used to hit almost 200 degrees[&:] its gotten a lot better now tho, but its still at 150-170 most of the time..whats the average?? and could this be a radiator problem? cause i can hear my fan kicking in usually.

normal. I usually am right about 170 at cruising speed. if I am in traffic, or not forcing alot of air into the radiator, it will get up to about 200.

 

ok..so i should be running normal then..if you ride higher gear doesnt your temp go up? and if you keep it in 1st and 2nd through town it stays lower? i dont know why..maybe its cause thats the way they are meant to be ridden and thats just how there companants work..not sure i guess.

 

all depends on how fast your going, if you going 30 35 in first it will prob get hotter, just as long as you dont go over 235+ you have nothing to worry about

 

Well just got back from a cruise so im anywhere between 170-190 depending on how hot a day is. It starts to cool down at about 25mph+. Fan kicks on at 223-224

 

In the heat of Florida, about 170-180 while riding. Sitting in traffic, 220-225 and the fans kick on.

 

165-175 normal riding
sitting still it'll go from 220-225 cutting the fan on/off

 

170 consistently regardless of ambient temp. 226 in traffice with the fan going, will drop to 190 quick then slowly level back to 170
