I am going to order a set of Chicane leather gauntlets for the colder months... for teh late spring and summer I am planning on either Alpinestars 3/4 gloves or maybe some SP-Xs if I can swing the coin.. both are ventilated 3/4 length gloves with good protection..

tekic's are good have 2 sets of those

Have a pair of A* Nitro short gloves for beboping around town etc.

also have a pair of icon short gloves n a pair of power trip short gloves. All are good gloves, the A*'s fit the best and I wear the SMX's the majority of the time

It depends on what you want from the pair. Textile non-gauntlet style are great for hot summer while providing good enough protection. For winter/colder weather leather gauntlet are the best. I've bought Dainese: http://www.dainese.com/us_en/motorbi...at=5&subcat=17
Pretty good pair, a bit pricey, but I think they are worth of it.
