Default What are these?
on the exhaust manifold after the 4-2 but before the 2-1 two enlarged sections? cats? pre-mufflers? curious....

I'm not an exhaust guy, so I'm speculating here: I believe it's just for the 4-2 assemblyto slip into the 2-1 assembly to allow for easier manufacturing and a strengthened weld (two seams, two weldsinstead of one).

These? its not where the 2 meets 1 its in the middle of the two pipes.
