What kind of battery do I need?

i'd go with a yuasa. top of the line, fully assembled with the activation charge in place (unlike cheap batteries). they should last about 4 or 5 years (mine lasted 6). don't buy it until you test/troubleshoot your electrical issues (ahem, your regulator/rectifier) or you're just going to fry a $150 battery.
