In the military it is Basic Allowance for Subsistence.

I posted in the tech section about my bike not starting and someone said to ck my BAS.

 

your BAS is your Bank Angle Sensor, its a little black box about 2 inches by 2 inches mounted somewhere in your upper cowl/ faring whatever, its mounted right to the headlight i think, it cuts the bike off when it is tipped over or if you 12 oclock your **** which is why we take em off and rewire that ****, it cuts the bike off so when you wreck that **** the tire isnt spinning and the motor isnt running, also known as a Tip sensoer take off your plastic look at the headlight its mounted there somewhere just a random black box with a wire
