hi i just recently bought an 01 honda cbr f4i and did not get a manual yet.. being that it is the first bike ive ever purchased i dont know what fuel to put in.. plz let me know

 

anything but deisel. most people but 93 (supreme) in there bikes but most the time theyll run fine with the two lower grade fuels (87 and 89 octane) its basicly whatever you feel like putting in/afford

 

yeah I use 93 or sunoco ultra 94 I havent ever used regular but when I get cheap ill use 89

 

i always use 93 at Shell because of the V-power. Ive noticed that the motor has been running alot cleaner, because the v-power basically cleans your motor while you drive it. Best gas ive ever bought

 

87 haha it doesnt matter , i try to get 76 brand or mobile, but gas is gas it might make a difference on top end past 130 mph. thats it.

 

Must be nice- 93 or 94,up in these here parts premium is 91! ( Though there is a BP station about a mile from my house that sells 101 at the pump).

 

91 OCTANE FOR MY BIKE......MOSTLY CHEVRON.. SHELL AND CITRO SOMETIMES.....NEVER GONNA PUMP AT 76 AGAIN..MADE MY BIKE RUN ALL F@#!ED UP

 

These are high revving high performance engines. No way I'm putting regular in this bike. Premium only.

Premium here, also. Saving a few bucks isn't worth engine knocks, fouled plugs, etc. Things just run a lot smoother and the throttle response across the board will be inproved (may not be 'crazy' noticable, but it definitely helps)
