I was originally looking at F3s, but for about a grand more I can get something a bit newer and fuel injection.
I never pay asking price, but he states 'firm' in his description. I've been trying to compare and it seems like he is asking a reasonable price.
Do you think so?
Any other thoughts appreciated!
Thanks!

I think $3800 - $4000 would be reasonable.

img works, IMG doesnt tho lol.

I think the price is resonable, but you prolly can get him down or find one for less.

if ya get it tho it has a bent brake lever, and get rid of the impellier bar ends.

Did you decide no? If so, may I ask why?

Funny how that's the side that's not scratched up. Do you know how easy it would be to take off just the lever. If it's easy i'll just stick in a bench vise and straighten it.
I was thinking the same about the bar ends. lol

Thanks for the 'img' help I tried three times to make it so you didn't have to click a link to see the pics.

i got mine a few months ago in very similar condition to that f4i for a grand less than his asking price. i think for sure u should look for an f4i instead of an f3...but maybe not this one. unless he can lower it to around 3500.

I'll bring my negotiation skills with me! I'm having a tuff time finding a bike that is priced how it should be though. Maybe it's just the midwest tax because we have had such a ruff winter.

Thanks for the confirmation. I thought it would be easy, but wasn't sure. I'm used to wrenching on cars. I'm ready to get my hands dirty with 2wheels now!
