so i was looking at craigslist and there is a guy that wants to trade a 99gsxr 750 for a 450 dirtbike. i have a 03 crf 450 so i asked him and he wants to trade me. the low bb on the gsxr is 3000. the high bb on my 450 is 2000. you guys think its a good deal.

 

The gix looks like its in pretty good shape cosmetically so thats a very good sign. If it runs strong and has a clean title it might be a fair trade.

 

I dont particularly like suzuki motorbikes, just IMO, but it looks like its in good shape. go for it, sounds like a pretty good swap.

take it for a spin and see if you like it. make suer everything is legit and it was well-maintained though. i'd do it just because i never got into dirt bikes.

 

im thinking i can get it, ride it for a little bit and sell it for 3500-4000 and get a newer dirtbike. my buddy is lookin to buy a buy and he wants a fuel injected one so i can prolly sell it pretty quick to him if i decide to sell it

 

I'd take it. Before I had my F4i I had an 00 Srad 600. Bike was pretty solid built. If you're in a pinch and are looking for a bike I say go for it.

 

Sounds high for an older bike. People are buying their newer F4i's for that much. I paid in that range for my 2005 with 11k and only an undertail.

 

i would do it just to have a sportbike and for the resale value
