Well, let's face it, the F4 and F4i are almost identical and relatively unchanged since 1999 (with the exception of fuel injection added in '01). Very dated. Unfair to compare in looks to the other two since the GSX-R600/750 was redesigned for 2006 and the same for the 2006 R6. Just look how dated the 2006 Yamaha YZF600R looks and also the renamed R6S, from the previous R6 model.

And i must admit the r6 and gsxr 600 look so much better than our beloved f4I's. Anyone have any ideas why honda designed our bikes with the banana seat and the extemly huge tail sections. hell the new gsxr's come with stearing dampers from the factory. i mean love my f4I but after looking at the new r6 and gsxr's make me think ......
any thoughts

Just 1 question... in your eyes where does the 600RR compare in looks to the r6 and gixxer!! You may just like the other companies styling better....But the f4I is def the bike you'd want for that weekend ride through the mountains with your girl or a girl on the back !! You 'll be lovin that comfy seaty then!!!

It comes down to preference at that point...If you want the more sporty/track look go for the RR or r6 or gixxer, but if you're more into comfort that the f4i is the way to go, imo.

My buddy bought a 06 r6 (blue) this last summer. I should mention too, it was his first ever street bike and some would say with the hottest term on the forum right now "squidly" but he's doing good so far.
Anyway I took it out for an hour and looks aside, would not want to be riding it all the time! First of all the seating position is so aggressive you feel like you are angled right over the bars so all the weight is right on your wrists. In fact, my wrists began to ache after just 10 minutes. Secondly, the thing has a crappy midrange. This bike doesn't develop good power or hit it powerband untill like 10 grand, which will be illegal in every gear I would say. Overall it was blah around town. He has even said, the longest he can ride it is like two hours and that is a huge turn off for me.
One other thing, i opened it up in first and and once it hit the power band, the bike revs so fast that you have no time to see that you are rapidly approaching the redline! This I found out because the needle moved so fast and i was trying to watch the road, i bounced it off the rev limiter at like 19 grand! It sounded nuts though!
In summary, i love the overall well roundedness of the F4i. It's a honda and lets ask this, how many old gixxers and r6's do see out ther? Not as many as you see hondas!
