Well, finally got some wheels!!!!
All my life, all i ever wanted was a bike..
Well, after dealing with Rick Case for a week or so, i finally got a bike!!
Out the door, i got her for 5k, with 1300 miles on the clock. Nice bike, the nicest, cleanest f4i around here.
Anyways, i haven't gotten on here before since im to busy riding the damn thing! I have a few mods that i have added when im not riding as well.
Anyways, i usually lurk around here but now it's official. LaterZ!
These are the pics from Rick Case's website:
Again, nice bike for sure. The previous owner did a few things like a fender eliminator and signals. Also, it would seem as if the bike is lowered.... and it has a shiny lowering link so i guess it's lowered.
And, now these are a few pics of my own shoing what i have done thus far. Two things, please excuse my filthy garage, its a mess right now since i've recently moved. And, these pics are from my phone so they suck!!
This shows my new DB from Zero Gravity. It helped out tons in the looks and wind department. When tucked, even in a half tuck, it gets the wind out of the way enough to ride comfortable. Oh, my frame slides as well.
just another angle.
NEW grips, just put them on a sec ago and honetly, besides the DB, this mod imo really set the bike off a bit.
as she sits!!
Just waiting for the slip-on to get here... then tires, brake pads and fluids.. this modding stuff sure is addicting!!

RE: Well, finally got some wheels!!!!
Congrats on the new bike!!! It looks great... and very clean indeed! Seems like a pretty good deal, and super low miles too! Great choice in a bike... can't go wrong with an F4i
Kinda funny... I bought my F4i at Rick Case too, back in 2004 (I used to live in Sunrise, FL). Just an FYI, their service dept SUCKS!!! Don't ever take your bike there... trust me!
Enjoy the new bike, and ride safe! [sm=smiley20.gif]
Oh yea and [sm=welcomesign.gif] to the forum too!

good look'n bike! i really like the look of the yellow sliders on there too, great choice. how tall are you? just curious b/c i've been tossing around the idea of getting a DB windscreen (im 5'9') although i'd prefer a clear one but i dont think anyone makes a clear one. i actually USE my windscreen to look through on cold COOOLD days and rainy rides.

wait, there is a search button?!
lol.....
let me see, thanks ya'll.... I was shopping for bikes for a while now and ended up on this really clean f4i. I know a bunch of stunta's that blast these bikes around so i figured it can take what im wlling to give it.
Thanks on the heads un on rick case... it seems very hard to find a decent service depart. here in south florida so i guess i'm gonna have to look further. I'm about 5'10-5'11 and the screen projects the wind blast nicely, away from your chest. When in a half/full tuck, dude, you will not be sorry. The wind is honestly not an issue unless you pop up! Also, i think zero gravity makes a clear DB... i would consider it for sure.
As for the grips, they can be controversial but honestly, i think the little hint of yellow in them with the carbon to match the mirrors that came with the bike makes the front end pop a bit! But as for comfort, i don't know yet.... haven't ridden with them yet.
Anyways, thanks again ya'll.... see ya at the search button!!!
