Default Water Wetter vs Ice

Just curious on thoughts for Water Wetter vs Ice. I was told if i'm going to change from standard coolant to Ice I would need to drain all coolant out of the bike, (not just the radiator) before putting in Ice.
Is Water Wetter the same?
Or can you just add to what's in the bike? I live in Texas so hot 100+ deg days, and temp gets up there when stopped at a light for over a couple minutes. Mines low so need to add some, so just curious on y'all thoughts on the issue.
Thanks

To use either, you need to get as much of the old coolant out as you can. Drain the system, fill with water, bring the bike to temperature so the thermostat opens, and drain it again. Repeat until what comes out is clean water. If you are going to use distilled water, use that to flush it the last few times.

Plain o'l water and coolant has kept my F4i running amazingly cool compared to my 1000RR in 115*+ AZ summer heat. Never been above 225* even sitting in freeway traffic on blacktop. The only reason to run the aftermarket liquids is for track compliance really.

If you looking to get temps down look into the fan temp sensor mod if you havent yet, brought my bikes temps down by 10-20degs dont think you can get that much of a difference from coolant alone.

On a related note anyone know how clear the water coming out have to be? Back when I first got my f4i I did a complete flush with distilled water running bike up to temp and all that and after three flushes it was still not completely clear (although it was very very close)

Clear clear. Things that aren't supposed to mix tend to gel up when they are indeed mixed, like orange dex cool vs regular green coolant. So be sure.
