Maybe the exhaust ??? Here is a link to install them in case you didn't see it. I should of thought of this sooner..... CLICK HERE..

I just got my Vortex sliders, but haven't installed them yet. I'm comparing the two base mounting bolts, and it seems that the longer one (right side) has a longer unthreaded section, about a cm in length, so I'll probably see that same gap when I put them on. There must be a good reason they designed it like this. Maybe the engine sticks out farther from the frame on the right side (???).
true but if vortex knew (which they do due to length of bolts) these they d cut the bas shorter to fit better. should. it is just a poor design. also i called vortex to ask and the guy gave me attitude.

its normal and it works fine (trust me, i've crash tested them quite a few times)

lets just move on...
