Default Vortex rear sets - the non-adjustable ones

I have an '01 F4i.I'm trying to install my new rear sets and I'm running into a problem with the rear brake plunger apparatus. Because of the raised position of the rear-set,at the top of the piston the stem where the hose to the caliper is connected hits part of my frame....well technically the hose over the stem hits part ofthe frame...but the result is thatI can't tighten anything down on that side. Has anyone encountered this before who can help me with an easy fix?? Thanks so much.

you should've gotten some spacers with them. if not, you can just stack some washers.

i believe the ones that came with mine (bought used) are about 1/4" thick.
