I have decent facilities to do so, unlit, covered, outside. I maybe have the tools. The biggest issues would've been the time and know-how. I heard it's a really involved job when i talked to the mechanic, and usually people won't lie too much if you ask if it's something you can do yourself. I pretty much just didn't want to try and either have my bike out of commission for a while or break something in the process. I might look into doing it myself next time, but hopefully by the time it's due again i might have a new(er)/bigger bike. I try to do the most i can usually, but this seemed a bit to daunting. Oh also, my Dad has been wrenching on mainly cars and some motorcycles for about 40 years, but he is far from a mechanic, and getting along in age. So like i said, maybe next time if i have time to research it all and feel confident enough.
