Default used f4i

I recently purchased an 02 f4i and I didn't spend a whole lot of time checking it over since i was able to get it for 2750. its in good shape but my question is that right now it has mismatched tires on it. michelin pilot power in the front and dunlop qualifier in the rear and was wondering if is is really imperitive to get tires right away. also i took every thing off of the bike and gave it a through cleaning and oil change, but when i took of the cap that says oil there wasn't a dipstick inside of it. i was wondering if this is normal or not. I came from an 04 gs500 and that had the dipstick which is all i have to compare it to. is a fuel injected bike different. also the bike has about 15k on it is there any major maintance i should due to the bike. i don't have an owners manual to refer to . thank you for the help

there is not a dipstick you check the oil on the hour glass on the side with the bike standing upright not on the kickstand. Mismatched tires are fine unless you are really gonna push it hard in the corners then I sugest get a good set of matching tires..

Ditto on what Scott982 said and also be aware that the Cam Chain Tensioner will probably either be rattling or will start to soon. Do a search on CCT and take TahoeSC's advice and adjust the stock one rather than ordering a new APE one. Good luck!

wow nice finding!

welcome to the F4i club
Different tires are fine but if they are at 25% threat left I would just buy new sets
