Urgent request!

Hi all,

Hoping to get a hand from any f4i seabarfers that can spare a couple minutes. I am looking at converting my f1 to stick coils, and ordered some that I thought would fit (from a 1000rr) but they are a bit too long. Can someone get me the overall length of a coil, as well as a picture of the connector. Basically I am looking for this:

Much appreciated!

Do you want us to give you an ID for that picture, Or is that your 1000rr coil and you want to know how much shorter the F4i one is?

If you want an ID for that pic, it looks the same as and measures the same as my 954's coil.

That's my 1000rr coils. The ones that sb used on his 1000f look shorter. Also an old inactive member said he used 01 cbr600 coils on his 600 hurricane.

coil too long shouldn't be much of an issue because you can slide the rubber down to get a good seal unless its hitting something.

I don't have the exact measurement but my coils on the F sport

but when i brought my bike the idiot had it before me put a too short replacement coil in; that one just over 5" (shorter than your one) and I had to find some original ones.

May be try GSXR ones, I had one on my DRZ conversion, its shorter and have the same head
hope it helps

Yeah, those short ones you have are the ones I need. The long coil will hit the rad fan on the #3 cylinder, unfortunately.
