RE: Two Brothers M2 Exhaust
The pipe sounds great, and looks great, but IMHO the Two Bros cans are not as good of quality as Micron or Yoshi. Up close, they look cheaper, they feel cheaper, and the materials and fit and finish are not on par with Yoshi. I came from a Yoshi TRS carbon can, and the midpipe and all metal parts were better quality and it just looked higher end. Yoshi weight a bit more as it was more stainless steel on the pipework and fittings, but it had a perfect polishing.
The Two Bros has a SS midpipe of poorer quality, and it connects to the can via a cast aluminum piece. That aluminum piece looks really cheap and because it is a different metal than the midpipe it connects to, it doesn't match up in color or finish.
Also, it does not mount as tight as the Yoshi did, meaning that no matter how much you tighten everything up, the pipe and can still flex and wiggle a lot more than other systems I have seem.
Sound and performance it is a good pipe, but I sorta regret the purchase. The Yoshi sounded great and I think this was a step back.
What I do like is the lower and deeper sound and the fact that I can remove the endcap to modify and replace the baffle, something that is a pain in the *** on most other pipes.
If you want to upgrade from stock, go for it, but if you already have a decent aftermarket can, I think it is a lateral move at best and not worth the money until your old can needs replacing.
