Two Bros Exhaust Bracket
I have a 2 bros exhaust on my 2002 f4i. The bracket for some reason slowly bent inward and is now rubbing on my brake calibers. I can't bend it back to its normal position and I cant seem to find a clamp that will fit the exhaust pipe. Can nayone point me in the right direction

Sounds like maybe a tip-over caused the bracket to bend in.
In either case, i'm sure any local welder that you take the bracket to should be able to heat it up a bit and bend it back to place. Shouldent cost you more than 20-30 bones for the bit of labor. |
Which "bracket" are you referring to? The round clamp that goes around the canister is usually a very bendable, thin metal. The passenger peg that the round clamp attaches to is made of cast aluminum, and would be very difficult to bend back to a normal shape, even by an experienced welder or similar.
It almost sounds like your midpipe or something has been bent, pushing the canister in a slightly different direction. I'd take a day when the bike hasn't been ridden (exhaust is cold), and loosen it up and twist it around, see if it helps. |
Thanks for the replies
I am referring to the thin metal circular bracket made to hold the exhaust in place. Even when it wasnt warped, it was too large for the pipe. It was an inch too long for the pipe atleast. So i am going to try and replace it with one that actually fits |

The passenger foot-peg on the other hand would be near to impossible to weld, bend or whatever. yup. |
you can get a replacement directly from two brothers, their phone number is on their web site. I just did this a few weeks ago and it was like 17 bucks + shipping
