Default Turn Signals in Air Duct

I don't know if anyone has tried this, but do you think it would be okay to try to put some home made turn signals inside the air ducts in the upper cowl right under the headlights? I was thinking maybe I could buy some amber LEDs and stick some in there.

That is a good idea. I may try that just for the look of it.

Not much to it actually...

I just got two small pieces of aluminum and cut them to size and then drilled out the four holes for the 5mm leds and counter sunk the holes one for looks and two so the light wasn't directional because the leds are flush with front of the piece of aluminum. Then I wired in the LED's in series. Then I poprievted them to the vents and then wired them into the blinkers.

Now If I get some more time I can do a full how-to and put it up in the how to section, but I wouldn't hold your breath. So if you have any other questions just ask!

Doesn't sound too hard. It gives me some ideas for some new turn led light schemes...

They are cool but no one will ever see them unless you are behind them, but every time your turning in an intersection or anything like that forget it. IMO if you did this i'd leave some flushmounts or something on the side of your bike too.

They are meant to be in addition to your flush mounts. The problem with flush mounts is they don't project the light forward very well. So this helps. But there not mean to replace you side blinkers....
