Ah gotcha. Thats why i asked if there was something i was missing, i never said it was easy. Just didnt know the circumstance and wasnt looking at it like that. But now i know and everyone that gets one will certainly appreciate it.

Well.......I wish I had better news.

Looks like the covers are going to be a no-go...at least for now.

Between a vendor I was going to be using not stocking the specific carbon fiber anymore, and the lack of shop time, there's no way I could make these things without losing money on them.

Stay tuned in the future though....this aint over yet!

I know, I have a couple made....but to mass produce these, I would lose about $1.50/ cover, which obviously wouldn't make sense.

The affordable vendor I had isn't carrying the .05mm carbon fiber anymore, and other places charge close to 25% more than what I had planned on paying.

So for now this is on hold.......

 

You may still get some interest if your asking price is a couple bucks higher

 

Meh....I was doing this to help out the forum...not to turn a profit.

Plus there's too much other competition out there with a price point of $20...
