This is from last weekend at Portland Intl Raceway. Kinda interesting because I'm dicing with my friend on an '06 R6 and another guy on a Kawi ZX6 race bike comes in at ~10 minutes. Gearing is currently -1/+2 and I hit the rev limiter in 6th gear on the long straight so next time I'll drop a tooth on the rear.

What I'm participating in is called 'Taste of Racing' and it runs during the lunch break of the club races. You pay $20 for 20 minutes on the track. Its designed to get people interested in racing. The guy with the red shirt over his leathers is the leader, no passing him is allowed. He is a racer on a CBR1K, so he could leave us in the dust if he wanted to.

Cool video, dude. I skipped around some, I admit it Definitely a great way to spend $20. Wish the local tracks did something like that, instead of ~$175 for a full track day. Although you do get teachings and such at those, so I guess it's worth it if you're more serious about it. One of these days...
