Default Track Days

I ran at Buttonwillow on Sat. I need to machine some rear sets as my right peg was scraping all over the place. I even have a 5mm spacer on the rear shock and it was still touching bad. This is with aftermarket pegs with no feelers. I also weigh like 150 with gear on, so it's not like the suspension is compressing THAT much. Definitely need to make some rearsets as the stock ones are way too low.

Anyone else have problems with scraping their kick stand? I ground half of mine down... LOL

Some pics, I photoshopped the watermark out of them that's why they look like crap. Enjoy

The F4i sits low and you'd be better off with rearsets. But from the looks of it, I'm willing to bet your body positioning is not right, hence scraping too much. You can always cut off half your pegs like I did mine if you want to save money.

I ran my f4i on the track for a while, but am now with an F4 full time.

Aftermarket rearsets will help out a lot, but so will improving your body position. Looks like you've got your butt off the seat, but your whole upper body is still over the bike. Work on getting it leaned over and the bike will corner easier with less lean angle.

Thanks! I'll definitely work on that. I think you're absolutely right!

another easy relatively cheap option is go to a 600rr swing arm conv. using the 1krr shock and try the 600rr linkage if ur not getting enough lift switch to the 1krr linkage and ull def get enough..

Maybe your not aware that most riders don't want to have their bike in pieces all summer
