if you didn't touch anything then maybe brake malfunction...which would not be very likely...i'm thinking your rear tire broke loose for a little bit, then caught and while it wasn't enough to high side you, it was enough to stand the back up...

whatever it was...you're still here with us today! woooohoooo!

Based on you saying you couldn't get the bike to lean back into the turn, I'm guessing target fixation, either with or without braking. Anyway, glad you're OK, even if the bike isn't.

+1. Sounds like a simple case of target fixation. Look through the turn, not at it.

"there are two types of riders - those who have gone down, and those who are going to go down." luckily you got the chance to get back up. the bike may look pretty messy, but i just fixed mine up with about the same amount of damage as yours, so dont consider it totaled just yet.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

i'm sorry F4iguy. well at least you survived your first crash. and i think the sayin is "thereis the people that have crashed and the ones that havenet crashed yet" is insurance paying for it? or you fixing it yourself?

i just saw axsys's saying.. that's how it was told to me - i just laughed at the dealer when i was looking for bikes..
