Default tires tires tires

so i finally got around to getting my taxes done. and im getting some money back and i desperately need a new rear tire. so i want to just go ahead and replace both tires.
so i was wondering if anyone knew of any places with really good prices for tires and howmuch i should expect a shop to charge me for putting these tires on.

i was also thinking about doing a 520 conversion but i wanted to know about any ups or downs do the conversion
any input is appreciated

most tire prices are gonna be within the same range, unless you just stumble off a killer deal
if you order **** online its cheaper, obviously, and most the time u can get away without paying shipping motorcycle-superstore.com, kneedraggers.com have good prices, but the thing is, alot of places will charge you more if you didnt buy the tire from them, or some places wont even touch it i think my battalax installed was like 210?

Check out the pricing of tires at indysuperbikes.com They are local for me and always treat me well.
I also use Dunlops as I've had good experience with them. Mounting varies depending on several items (rim on/off the bike, where you go dealership/independant shop etc).

Just picked up a set of Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's from Honda Of Jacksonville for $259.00. That is installed if you are local. I shopped around and as far as I have found it is a prtty good deal for front and rear.

Hope it helps.

I just put on a set of Metzeler M-1's a few weeks ago. I like 'em. Got 'em when Cycle Gear had 'em on sale. I took the wheels off myself and got the tires put on for $20 each. Look around on the internet, you'll eventually find a good deal.

I had to talk my dealer into matching price on an online deal.
