it is pretty easy, i have done it twice already. Just raise the rear end and take the brake caliper off (do not need to unhook the line though), loosin up the chain tensioners, then take thenut off the axel, and slide the axel out and then the tire and rim comes right off. You don't have to even break the chain. Then i just take the rim and tire to the local Cyclegear and have them swtich it out.

When you take the wheel in to get the tire on it, keep as many misc. parts at home as you can (spacers, rubber dampers, etc). A shop will lose those things. Make sure you torque everything back to spec when your wheel comes home.
