RE: Tires????????
Elliot - tires are a very personal choice based on riding experience, environment, etc... It will take some time to sort out what you like or don't!
As far as mounting them yourself, there's alot of money to be saved, as well as the peace of mind iof knowing it's doen right without marking your rims, the money you save buying tires online, and the convenience of doing it on your own schedule. I can change both of my tires in an hour whenever I need to and always have a spare set onhand in case one gets damaged!

RE: Tires????????
just for commuting and city riding, save yourself bling and get some 207s or other sport touring tire.
don't get what others say is 'awesome', etc. because that's not what you'll be using it for.
now for some commuting and good twists, my picks are diablos and pilot powers. pilot sports were crap when i tried them.
