Tires

Hey Guys.
Right now I've got some Continental Road Attack tires on my 2003 f4i. It's about time for new ones (for next season), and I've only ever used these ones. I really like them, but I was wondering if i could ask you guys for your input on some new tires. I figure since you all run different rubber, maybe i'll find some new favorites. So let me know what tires you guys are running, and whether or not you like them/hate them, etc. Thanks guys/girls!

Evan

I'm runnin Pilot Power 2ct and can't complain. I put em on at the beginning of the season, put a couple Ks on em, the still look pretty new. I don't ride too hard (no wheelies, burnouts or knee draggin') plus there ain't any twisties in the D.

You should get Pilot Roads next time. Power, especially 2CT, are overkill if you're just hitting the streets.

I also have Pilot Power 2CTs, and I abuse them, and they love it.

no such thing as overkill on the streets ;)

Bike tyres are like spring flowers. They take some time to mature, then suddenly they're there looking a feeling great...... then they start to fade and die.
I'm on Metzlers. They took 1K miles to scrub in but they put a smile on my face since I felt them bury themselves into the tarmac on a tight bend that came out of nowhere. I like! Confidence inspiring? Yes.

In his case, I disagree. Roads have plenty of performance for what he does and cost less.
