Tire spinning in neutral
I started my bike this morning on the rear stand to warm up the bike, and I noticed my rear wheel was spinning. I thought maybe it was just the vibration of the bike, but when I pulled in the clutch the wheel slowly came to a hault. Let it out again and the tire began to spin again. Any thoughts as to why this is happening and how I could fix it

It is normal, no need to fix anything. I've had three bikes and they all did the same thing (including my f4i)

Even in neutral your fluids in the tranny are spinning around pretty good because of the clutch assembly spinning. The pressure of the fluids must be moving the gears just a smidge.
I just did a heavy clean and re-waxing of my chain (using the rear stand) and my tire doesnt move at all in neutral with motor running. I think its because my chain is nearing the end of its days and has a few tight spots. |
Perfectly normal, just means your chain is in good condition and well lubed and adjusted.
