The best tire size is OEM to your bike.

Zero1080 12-25-2009 11:13 AM

OEM all the way. If you want "performance" just use different tires. A lot of people here use the Michelin 2CT something or other, I have Shinkos on mine, and I'll be trying out Pirelli's come changing time.

Unless you're ONLY drag racing, or stunting, would I even RECOMMEND changing the tire size.

I use the 2CT front and rear with stock sizes and they seem to grip really well!

I run stock. I figure Honda did their research ahead of time and put the best size on stock.

nakedcivic 12-25-2009 06:03 PM

what is stock size again?

Junior2552 12-25-2009 07:22 PM

look at the side of your tire....120/70 in the front, 180/55 around back.

google the make and model of your bike. There are factory specs listed for almost every bike.
