Hum, well, I would be careful. I had a Dunlop D208, I wore it to the cords all the way around the tire about 1/4 inch wide. When I replaced it, about 100 miles after the cords started showing, I cut the tire open. The tire was about 1/8th inch thick. Thats it! Scary

 

you see this with stunters and people who cant afford a tire because they have no job and live with mommie. they ride it until theres no way tehy can anymore. with just a patch you'll be fine to ride it to the shop and get another one.

 

I would say like 1-2 laps around the track. . .burn outs waste too much rubber lol. I think after about 1-2 laps the chicken strips are gone on a new set of qualifiers for me. I like using street tires on the track as it is what i use on the street so I know my exact limits.

 

well it made it to the shop. i called before i left and expalined it and they said they couldnt tell me to ride it there or not because of liability issues. however the tire looked the same when i got there. putting a new pilot power on it now. hope it works out. thanks for the input guys.
