Time to replace your fuel filter?
Hey guys, just wanted to give you a little FYI...
I got a new tank for my bike and figured I should change the fuel filter since I had to take the pump assembly out anyways. When I found out that the filter costs about $40, I almost didn't get it. But, I sucked it up and bought it. I'm glad I did, because when I blew in the old one it was very restricted - when I blew in the new one there is zero restriction. I just bought this bike, so I'm assuming it is the original filter with 15k miles. Just in case you might be wondering if you should change your filter... |
:icon_doh: next time Put some fuel in New Filter and try that.
the old one has fuel still in it so it well always be harder to blow threw then a new DRY filter. |

15k doesn't seem much on a fuel filter. Most automotive cars don't need to be changed till around 75k. Shoot on Mazda6's they don't even have a fuel filter
