those of you with stock windscreens
today i decided to paint my stock windscreen black and when putting it back on there was a gap inbetween the windscreen in the fairings at the top by the top 2 screws. So i figured i put it on a little wrong, so i tried to re-adjust but the gap remained. I cant remember if it was like this before i took it off or if im just not getting it in right. So thos eof you with stock windscreens or even aftermarket should this gap be there?

Not quite sure what you're talking about. Picture?

ok, pics to come if i can find my camera. but basically what i mean is the winscreen isnt flush with the fairing at the top of it where the screws are.

The gap is normal. Ill put a picture up of how much worse it is with my Zero Gravity screen. Did you paint both sides of your windscreen or just the back? Can you post a picture from the front? Thanks.
EDIT: About a 1/4" with the Zero Gravity windscreen: Attachment 56260 |
Yep, mine's like that. I just think it's the way the plastic flexes, and there's not really anything you can do. I have mine out all the time, it never gets better or worse.

yeah thats normal
